Title: Hi From Switzerland
Post by: Butzy on Tue, 25 February 2020, 03:31:54
Hi to everyone,
I'm Butzy (40y.o.) from Switzerland.
I love the mechanical keyboards and i would like to start to create a DIY one.
Currently I have a WASD V2 105-keys (MX Blue) at work and a Varmilo 87Key (MX Pink) at home for my mac.
...i'm a ISO guy...I know that someone could hate me :) sorry:)

I have no idea which pcb to buy because I've some requests, and I don't want to buy a new varmilo... I would like to create one by myself.
I would like to have a TKL(absolutely ISO), and I don't find any PCB with this features.
Moreover I'm not an expert with electronics, and if it is possible I would like one with the cherry hot swap (not mandatory)

Moreover I would like a PCB with the "mac" style (cmd and alt inverted) and NKRO (or at least 6kro)

I know that Varmilo is covering all the requests that I have..but so... the happiness to create one by myself could be amazing...

I always dreamed to have a wooden case... :)
Thank you and congratz for your amazing forum!
BR,
Butzy

Hi there from Switzerland too
Make sure you get a QMK compatible PCB so you can flash your own layout on it.
More of a problem will be to find a case fitting your PCB, good look for a wooden one ;-)

I'd wait for a group by like the kbd8x and buy a tkl kit.
