Great idea - put it in the corner of a room with a silent setup near the wall for browsing and your loud gamer setup showed off to the room!
That was the only good thing I could come up with for what I can only see as a huge and impractical design, much like RGB on everything I just don't get it.

I think the idea is sports cars, but on a computer.
It's not a natural evolution of computer aesthetics, so in that way I see a large drift from expectation.
