The top version of each is a lot brighter, less blue, and has more detail in some of the shots,so I'd say the top ones are better.

Bonus question, which one do you think is the "Murican 4K, which one is the Germany 4K ?

It would not even remotely shock me that US version is the crappier one,so I'll go with that.

Assuming my monitor is any good (tp4 will say it isn't :P) I'm not particularly fond of either - the bottom images appear to have more natural colour but there's more detail in the top ones. Looks like a camera (natural) vs crappy boosted cell phone faux detail... Based on this I'll guess that the American one is the top one due to national stereotypes.
-
The bottom ones look darker and more aggressive to me, so if I had to guess, I'd think the bottom ones were American (going off of the Angry Kirby Effect).
Looks like the film had an overall rather orange-and-teal look, though.
-
I think the same thing was done with Willy Wonka 2005. The US version was all cold and blue looking while international releases were warmed up.

It seems everyone got it right.
The Warm Top version is German
The Cold Bottom version is 'Murica
-- 'murica version was de-grained to better match the digital appearance of the newer Marvel-Hero Movies.

Nope! That's what I get for using stereotypes...
Now for the real question - what were you doing looking at the German version?

German version came out years before the 'Murica release. Nothing Nefarious.
Your intuition is correct, Germany is typically very by-the-book in terms of their creative intent.
