Title: Is it safe to store keycaps in baggies?
Post by: nc0de on Thu, 12 March 2020, 10:04:05
Hey GH,

currently I store my spare keycaps in plastic bags, like this:

Is that safe? I heard that plastisizer from cables can melt ABS. I guess this applies to baggies too...
The caps in the picture are PBT... are they also affected by the plastisizer?

Best regards

I keep mine in thick ziplock bags, nothing has happened to them.

Same with me, i store my bad corsair caps in them and nothing has happened to them, except with human hands moving them around all over the place
