Hello! first post here so sorry if i don't know what Im doing. i have my old WYSE that Ive decided i want to wire to usb but i really don't know how. its a WY50/350 840059-01 and i still have the original 10 pin cable. I wasn't able to find anything about it on a google search. do i need to keep the stock cable or can I wire In a new one from the connector on the pcb?
Thanks!

I didn't do any converting but i looked into it you can keep the cable and cut a bit of to reveal the small cables in the cable and solder those up to a teensy and then convert it. Then you can hook up a mini USB cable to USB to your PC and type on it as a regular one. Its better if you ask around on Deskthority.
So yeah you can also solder straight from the controller if you want
