Is it because of their reliability?
On an unrelated note, I know that the space cadet keyboard has hall effect switches, is this why it is so desirable? Is it because of their layout or because of how they look?

And smoothness, if you feel one. Like on a Wooting one, and smoothness in a keystroke is a big thing for you.
You'll never want to touch much else.
They feel fantastically smooth, but of course the endless reliability is also a huge selling point.

What sold me was how smooth they were, it was ridiculously nice.
