Title: An Ambulance went by
Post by: tp4tissue on Fri, 10 April 2020, 11:44:41
It were stopped by the house on the back street behind Tp4.

There was an ambulance + a police car.

Their garage door opened for a bit, but due to the angle, couldn't see clearly what was going on. Not very clear through these cheepy binoculars.

What y'all think happened ?

Under what conditions do they send a police car with the ambulance ?

With that combo I'll guess domestic violence due to people being trapped in a house together too long.  Or maybe a suspicious exhaust fume 'suicide' being as they opened the garage...

With everybody holed up and very little happening, police may be bored and have nothing to do. That would be one good thing at least.

And you know that auto accidents must be way way down.

AFAIK, the police always come when 911 is called even if it's a fire or medical emergency call. When my house burnt down in early 2012 the police were there way before the fire dept. So whatever happened they most likely reported it by calling 911.

This.
They send the closest first responder (almost always a cop) to evaluate then call off those not needed, especially if there's a lack of information. If you are calm and tell them what is happening sometimes you will get far less, such as a lift assist for elderly, but otherwise everyone scrambles.
