GMK is mostly done around group buys. Vendors will stock extras after the group buy ends, but they generally cost more if you extras after the groupbuys ends (e.g. a base set is usually $110-$130 during a GB, and $180-$200 after). Originative Co's sets are the main exception (they buy the sets themselves and stock them), but they still end up costing more than a group buy (~$160-$180 per set usually). The other main exception is the Q:01 set that GMK/Uniqey themselves stock, though shipping from Europe is quite expensive. https://uniqey.net/en/uniqey-q-01-base-kit

No, unlimited orders can be placed during the GB. This is standard practice for group buys, unless it's limited quantity.

I just have GMK or SP make whatever I want one off because I have enough money to do so. Turnaround for me is less than 15 days too. It really is not that expensive. I get about 150-200 caps for anywhere from $800 to $2,000 depending on the complexity and some other factors. I do not have time or patience to mess with group buys but luckily I do have cash.

GMK operates on a minimum 250 set MOQ for custom keycap orders. As full sets generally range around $140, you're looking at a total cost of at least $30,000 USD to get a set made for yourself.

Sounds pretty much made up tbh.

No, call my bluff and send them an email. they will make you one set for about a grand or two. You guy's just take every single chance to hate on me. Of course I would not pay 30 grand but a grand or two is worth it to me. I can't deal with GB. You think Drop has 30 grand again and again? They are actually a very small company. Plus GMK and SP are not exactly huge companies themselves either. They will take something aside if they have time. The only caveat is you must supply the font. That alone makes it a 20 minute job for them. It is not al you think. Once TG3 designed and made me 1 custom cap in 15 minutes. I cannot stand you two.

Is "sup" as in "What's up" or as in "Imbibe"? Since I think you may have indulged in a bit too much "Crack".

No one does lol. There's a reason why they sell GMK keycaps through a GB or as extras [from a GB].

Is that the price of double shot? Pad printed? Or something else?
I'm considering getting a few sets of pad printed but I don't have THAT much money to throw around.
Can you give a brief synopsis of the process to request a set? I've never done it and don't know where to start.

If you want a couple sets printed cheaply, you can check out wasdkeyboards, to get a full set printed is like around $60.  Only issue is the plastic isn't as nice as the other offerings and the print can wear off with heavy use (called UV printing).  Pad printing is a slightly different process better for mass manufacturing.
