Title: Newbie - custom keyboard options similar to barebones GMMK
Post by: Natedog351 on Sat, 25 April 2020, 00:16:31
Recently I switched from console gaming to PC. My daily driver that I've used for several yrs is a ducky shine with MX browns. I love the keyboard but it's pretty old and 1 of my kiddos knocked it off my desk and cracked it. A buddy mentioned the GMMK and for the last week my mind has been spinning going deeper and deeper into the mechanical keyboard world.

Now to the point are there other options to building a keyboard that wouldn't require soldering or is it just better to bite the bullet and put together something soldering and all. I dont have any soldering experience so I rather avoid it. Just looking for TKL most maybe 65%. I just really want to be able to get my own switches, keycaps, etc and put together something with my own touch which I think ppl here can relate to.
