				Kalle needs an Alt key to type an umlaut?  He's in Sweden using a US keyboard?

				And the OS configured to using a US layout apparently ...  The Alt key is not necessary for typing umlauts with a Swedish layout. The ] key has the function of a "dead key" that puts an umlaut on the next letter that is pressed. The Alt Gr key is mostly used for @, unless you are a programmer and need the {*} letters ...
