Title: [GB] Hyper 7 R3 (173%)

Welcome to the Group Buy of the Hyper 7 – R3.

The Hyper 7 is a 173% keyboard started by Jae, Yiancar, and a couple others. R3 is now live which includes the main PCB with daughterboard, and options for a bent plate case (stainless steel) and option stabiliser set.

Changes from R1/R2:
– Moved to three rows on the top daughter-board to closer match the original vision. – KLE – and allows for normal 2u keycaps with stabilisers.
– New plate files. Will now be a sandwich style build with metal feet.
– PCBs will be Blue in colour

NOTE: Renders are for display purposes only and do have slight changes to the final items.

1 x PCB with daughter-board – Blue (daughter-board has options for 2u as in images, or 1u keycaps) - £125

Bent Plate Case – Top and Bottom pieces with angled supports. - £125

30 x Clip in/Screw in GMK Stabilisers - £50

SHIPPING WILL BE CALCULATED SEPARATELY. You will need to pay up to £30 for shipping once we have calculated shipping costs based on weight.

GB SCHEDULE: GB OPEN 25/04/2020 to 09/05/2020.
Around 2 months for production. Shipping should start around early-mid July.

Odd question, but are there any plans for a hotwap socket version? This keyboard looks awesome!

No plans for a hotswap version, although you can always install holtites/millmax sockets.

With Covid and the slowdown of most places, I'm still waiting on final prototypes for the cases, but I have got 5 final prototype PCB's on the way

GB ended May 8th, so if you're posting about what I think you're posting about, you missed this by a lot more than 6 days...More like 4 months.

At the time of this writing, the stainless steel cases have been manufactured and given to Mechboards. However, Mechboards is waiting on PCBs to arrive (already manufactured as well). So, pretty soon!

What I've been seeing in the discord is that things are all produced and in one location, but Mechboards has been moving office and dealing with that and haven't yet packaged things to go out.

I've been disappointed too at the lack of updates, and wish they'd be putting out more info about what is going on.
