Yeah I got a treo 755p that I bought for $20 off ebay, and hooked up on Pageplus prepaid for $10 every 3 months that never drops calls either. lol

Everyone shoulda known when Jobs couldn't get a connection when he was trying to show it off that it sucked. lol Although I think that was wi-fi? lol

I thought they had it fixed with that metal band. lol

Damn, lemme grab my Alpsulator.

At $3.33 a month you have me beat.

I have a bunch of accounts with Virgin Mobile - I bought the drug dealer special for my parents too because otherwise they would never have bought one themselves.

Yeah I love old treos, they do like 90% of what an iphone/ipod can do for about 1/20th-1/40th the price.  Verizon won't let you hook them up without a contract cause they're smart phones, but Pageplus which uses Verizon's network doesn't care and lets you do it. lol  They even let you surf the web without a data plan, it's awesome. lol

Also almost every app for the palm os has been cracked cause it's abandonware pretty much at this point.  There's a forum devoted to it you can pretty much get any program there is for free.

Palm os even supports older flash I think up to 5 or 6, which the iphone of course doesn't. lol

Yeah, Japanese have wicked awesome cells.  There's even a way of life surrounding them.  People live their lives out of net cafe's and get freeter part time jobs from their cell that they go to each day, then back to the net cafe at night.  Sounds like geek paradise. lol
