Title: 3d printed clones

I've got lots of spare PCBs and plates from past group buys and a ton of spare time on my hands of late so my 3d printer has been earning it's keep.
Files are in my sig.

VE.A (To fit the original PCB and plates)

Alice (Reworked the alternative case so it will fit on my print bed)

Dollinger (Tray mount 60% with a huge cutout for a battery)

Oh wow, this is pretty cool! How do you like the 60% tray mount with that thin plate that just seems to hold the switches?

The PCB is hot-swap so the plate is pretty much a failure.
At least it will be easy to swap when I find something better.
If it were soldered it would be OK.

I printed myself 2 of the Alice clones.
Still need to finish sanding and painting.
Top one has 67g R11 Zealios and a PC plate.
Second one has silent reds with a CF plate.
The Dollingerish is a tray mount with ink blacks, a hot-swap bluetooth PCB and  a 2500mah battery.
All of them run QMK and are supported in VIA, and the keycaps are by far the most expensive part of the project.

All of them look nice. Something isn't a failure if you learn something with it.

These are some of the nicest 3d printed cases that I have seen.  Normally I'm not that interested in the 3d printed boards but this almost makes me want to finally get a 3d printer.

I printed a wrist rest for the alice clones over the weekend.
Still need to do the sanding and finishing, but I'm undecided on color scheme.

I decided to go the whole hog and print one as solid and heavy as I could.

99% infill with a threaded steel rod.

I scrounged a 2mm thick STS plate from another kit I had lying around

Everything is held together with M3 threaded inserts and stainless steel screws

Much time spent priming, painting and sanding.
