Hello,
My name is Dennis! :)
I had been using a Corsair K70 for about 4 years and I recently switched over to a Durgod Venus. During my time shopping around for a new keyboard I stumbled upon the r/mechanicalkeyboards Reddit community and the geekhack forums. Needless to say, I am absolutely hooked and I've already begun looking at building a custom keyboard for my next build... RIP my wallet I guess.
I'm an avid gamer, currently playing Valorant so feel free to add me: KaraageDon#NA1
Cheers,
Dennis

Hi Dennis. Welcome to Geekhack.
K70s are wonderful if you ask me. I know others would disagree. I did the same thing, used a few K70s for years and years and, and then I read into what else there was, got some retro boards, and now there's no escape. I have only heard good things about Durgod so far. What switches have you got in them? I just ordered a 65% and TKL of the Heavy Metal Keyboard myself.
I often wish I played games more again myself.

I got it with Gateron Yellows, I wanted a smaller board for gaming.
Thanks for the welcome, good luck with your upcoming build!

What have you got in the K70? I should trt Gaterons, in general, never have. Yellows are especially interesting since I find MX reds just a tad too light. Do you find that the yellows are able to be actuated on accident? I know MX reds do for me.
It sure makes sense to go small for gaming. Not even people who feel they need the number pad can say that they need it for gaming.
Thank you, that's actually 2 separate boards, and I have the parts for a DZ60 coming as well. lol
