Hey, I am new to the custom mechanical keyboard thing and just bought my first pcb off of kprepublic, which was the XD84pro. I have been reading that qmk is one of the best ways to flash the pcb and I thought that the pcb that I bought (XD84pro) had qmk support. After looking at the list of supported devices I realized there was only support for the original XD84 pcb. I was wondering if there was support for this pcb in any way or would there be a way for me to either customize or add support for this pcb? Don't know the logistics of the qmk software or what would be needed to do such a thing but I am willing to put some time and effort to figure it out.
Thanks!

you'll have to find out what mcu it has. I've seen talk of a qmk issue with stm32 devices where they cannot support rgb. So it may still be possible if you can live without that and put the rest of the work in.
