Apparently Heat, will have little effect on Korona. The result may be that lock down extends through summer.
If everyone's gonna stay indoors, with manufacturing slowdown, shipping slow down, there could be a shortage of Air-conditioners.
Prolly gonna need to buy soon.

I have one sitting on my kitchen floor, waiting for warmer weather to install it.

It might be a reasonably cool summer though. so far it's been much colder than last year.

Yes, it would be smart to get an AC quick cause you never know how this situation evolves further and then the heat gets nasty and you're left without proper means to cool down. If you're looking for suggestions, look here https://www.optimainstitute.com/ac/small-portable.html (https://www.optimainstitute.com/ac/small-portable.html). I'd recommend the LG that purifies the air too, that's the one I plan on ordering next week when I cash in my from my latest project. But beware cause it isn't the type of air purification that has anything to do with the new virus circulating around, if I'm not mistaken, you need a UV model for that. Although I don't think does do much good either, if it's meant to be, it's meant to be I guess.

I pickup 2 window units from Home Depot every year and return them within the 90 days. It's nice have new ACs every summer. This reminder is good, I will definitely get them early this year.

If you can install a permanent unit, that would be preferable in the long term because they are much more efficient (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_-mBeYC2KGc) than the portable floor units.
Unfortunately, I live in an apartment that has (crappy) central air, and only the portable type is permitted. I didn't even need it last summer.
When I was shopping for one last spring, I did notice that the demand was high and that several models sold out in April already.

Over here, people believe that colder winters get followed by hotter summers ...
I dunno if that has any substance or is just a belief.

big brain! hahaha.
I just got a portable unit for my apt. Been saying I should get one every summer for the past 3 years but I always managed. I have a feeling I'll be home more often this summer so I guess it's a good investment.. It's just so ugly looking lol
