Title: SIgh.. birds
Post by: tp4tissue on Wed, 13 May 2020, 07:00:14
Got crazy one this year.

It goes..  Pew pew pew pew pew, /Faster, pew pew pew pew pew pew /Fastest, pewpewpewpewpewpewpew

5,6,7 combo <all in 1 call>,  and it does this for half an hour @ 5 am

It's mathing TP to death every morning. The pattern is so distinct you can't tune it out.

Was wondering if this was going to be about the flying variety or females - could be a mating call getting increasingly desperate, so both?

Bird croaking is the only sound I can think of that drives me absolutely mad. I cannot concentrate hearing it, cannot fall asleep hearing it, I wake up when I’m hearing it…

And the worst part is, that even when I close ALL THE WINDOWS, I can STILL HEAR THEM! There is NO ESCAPE! It’s so bad, for a while I had to use ear-plugs just to sleep past 5AM on the weekends.

Sometimes I dream about shooting tons of song-birds with a shotgun. Just hundreds of them, sitting in a tree. All dead. Those are good nights.
I do own a double barrel 12 gauge Beretta... Sometimes Im very close to using it... Very... CLOSE

Just another reason why winter is my favorite season. No Critters, no birds, no sweat, no problems.

My sister in-law basically has an aviary in her room. Her flock of parakeets dont really bother me, but her trio of Conures are annoying as all hell especially when they escape her room - she had 4 but one decided the only way out was into the ceiling fan.  Not a fan of most birds, also waiting for the day that my dog Bennie catches one mid-escape flight.

"Pew pew"? The birds have somehow obtained and learned how to fire Imperial blasters?

A few years ago, I had a bird that would continually bang into my storm door. Super annoying.

There was a Spring years back where a bird made a nest atop my refrigerator.

It was crazy annoying in the mornings, but they were adept at catching mosquitoes.

This morning a woodpecker started on my gutter for the first time in several years.
