What's the difference between a digital piano and a keyboard, the stand looks better?
-
The terms are interchangeable.
Keyboards are usually the ones without stand, and the w/stand ones are DigiPianos.
But they make the furniture stand accessory pretty much for all models now. So the line's blurred.

Digital piano implies they've tried to improve key weighting. Keyboards often feel nothing like piano keys.
-
A digital piano is a substitute for a real piano. Besides weighting and note holder, it must have pedals and sound like a piano.
A "keyboard" could have just a MIDI port.

My girlfriend recently spent $7000 on one of these:

There's definitely some of that implication in the modern use of the terms, but it's more like, mechanical keyboards implying individual switches or topre, EVENTHOUGH, all keyboards are fundamentally mechanical keyboards.
