Title: Symbol Terminal Keyboard to AT adapters

I'm not posting this in "ebay finds" because it's more about what they do than where to get them.

Has anyone tried these Symbol RJ to AT/XT (http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_npmv=3&_trksid=m570&_nkw=symbol+keyboard+adapter) adapters with any RJ-style terminal keyboards?  Know anything about Symbol terminal boards vs. others as far as protocol and pinouts?

I've noticed these before and assumed they wouldn't be worth the trouble, figuring that people here would have already mentioned them if they were usable for something.

Of course, if everyone else just assumed the same...
