Title: Feeback for this pcb i've been working on.
Post by: samanth on Sun, 07 June 2020, 07:16:52
So this started a while ago. I've always wanted an Alice but that's highly unlikely to happen as there are very few in the wild and also the PCBs alone are so damn expensive. So, I decided to make my own EM7 / Alice like keyboard. The only difficulty I used have was the pcb, as i'm a complete novice to electronics. However, I put in some work and finally managed to put together a pcb. I'm looking for feed back. Any help is much appreciated.

Here the link to my github repo - PCB (https://github.com/ksamanth/PCB)

Fixed the decoupling circuit and changed a few more things. Still not tested. The pcb is looking ready for prototyping, will keep updating as we go. Cheers!

Cool work

USB port seems to be in the center of the PCB, so the connector may not fit well depending on its thickness.

It's not an essential topic so just for reference, gitignore for KiCad is useful.

Will have a closer look. I was a little worried about the same. Cheers
