Title: hello from Seattle

hi friends

a little over two years ago, a friend of mine introduced me to custom building, as before that, I'd only used "gaming" keyboards and the like. at that time, i built a kbd67 and kbd8x and didn't pay any attention to the hobby until recently. i effectively took a two year hiatus from the hobby!

at the beginning of quarantine, i had too much time to spare and got back into the hobby, selling both the kbd8x and kbd67. i decided to build something higher-end, and built a xeno! that was only 2 months ago, and since building the xeno, i've been actively participating in the hobby. i've built a doro67 recently, and have multiple things on the way, such as a Nunu, multiple acrylic alice, a kbd67mkii, and i've also joined a few groupbuys already! it's safe to say that i'm fully enamored with the hobby at this point, and so i thought i should finally make a geekhack account so i can participate in things here.

ah seriously lol, it can be super sunny and then 5 minutes later it starts pouring in June
