Title: New Member from the east coast, USA!
Post by: C. on Thu, 11 June 2020, 17:33:07
Howdy! I've been interested in the mech keyboard hobby for a while and am still dipping my toes in. I used a Model M for years until I wanted something smaller, so I'm now typing on a KBP V60. I can't wait to switch out the keycaps and get it looking good.

Prior to the V60, I got this (https://www.wasdkeyboards.com/wasd-9-key-cherry-mx-switch-tester.html) switch tester, but none of the Cherry MX switches really felt right to me. After some research, I decided on Kailh Box Light Blues. They feel really sharp and have a satisfying click. They blow any Cherry MX switch out of the water, in my opinion.

I haven't tried those yet! I'm mostly still an Alps and buckling spring guy because I can't handle new things. I haven't tried the pale blues yet. I hear they're like the box whites, but heavier, right?

I haven't tried the whites, but to my understanding, they're basically the white switch with the spring of the BOX navy.
