I thought all Mac users whined, not just MacBook Pro users.
Oh, you mean the laptop...
What I have realised is that Apple have high priced products to start with and they will certainly take their pound of flesh if something does go wrong. So there will be no more macs, ipod or iphone for me! (was considering both)
My logic board literally caught fire when I plugged in a USB hub. Apparently there was some type of power surge. I just received an email from the iStore saying that the main logic board has been replaced and that I can pick my macbook pro up today. Whether or not I should plug a USB hub in again, I'm not sure, but it was the worst experience ever.
I work in an Apple authorized repair center and this is fairly routine. Apple updates and revises old boards and components all the time. This is hardly some underhanded way of addressing the issue due to the fact that it happens very frequently. And honestly, if it fixes the issue then it's a good thing any way you slice it.That fellow doesn't mention how apple ignored the whole issue and couldn't keep up the demand of [strike]logi[/strike]... motherboards.
Alright, this irritated me somewhat, but the comments are hilarious:

Yeah yeah, it's old news, but I never heard of it before since apple products are given way too much positive light. I actually enjoy reading various comments from people who get the bad end of apple products.
There's a few positive comments in there, but mostly from apple employees (go figure):

Anyways, I'm kind of irritated that apple calls their motherboards "logic boards", the motherboard is not a processor in itself, it merely holds everything. It may have been true for macs old as the 5150, but not anymore.
What percentage of people use Microsoft Windows?
Answer: 90%
hmm... then I guess 90% of all people are "unusual"
The only Mac I might ever get is an dual G5 server. When I get it I'll probably sell it.
If there's mac stuff, take it and sell it (apple equipment is good for one thing; MONEY). There's a lot of loony people out there who pay big $$$$ for shiny plastic and aluminum.
its a giant silver metal virtual penis.
I would love that car. By the looks of it you might need a CDL to drive it though.
I wouldn't like it. You'd need so much room to drive the damn thing anywhere. Plus it probably sucks lots of gas -- I'd actually prefer an electric car.
Cars and vehicles only serve to get me to point A & B. I'll probably buy a cheap $200 or $500 car for all I care. Maybe get some IBM deckles lol.

My dad had a 1979 Thunderbird. I told him I wanted it when he was done. He didn't take me seriously. I killed him for that. Slowly.
I learned to sail in a Cadillac that was something like that.
Perhaps because of that, I couldn't understand why everyone was buying big fat SUVs that they didn't need.
I woulda lost my damned mind!
The t-bird is of course the same thing as the (non-Town Car) Continental. Beautiful cars.
Like so:Show Image(http://geekhack.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=11666&stc=1&d=1278660218)
7.5L engine paired with a 3 speed automatic is perhaps not the most efficient thing you can buy but who cares?
SUVs have their place, but a lot of people who have SUVs would be better (or at least equally) suited by a large car like a proper station wagon or in some cases sedan like the Town Car.

You've already lost your mind.
So if you like cars that are inefficient, what's so bad about inefficient P4s?
I don't know about Canada, but in Ireland you'd have to sell your house to afford the tax on a car with a 7.5L engine...
Because we are are a communist country (bare in mind that one of Obama's ancestors was from Ireland, thus explaining the healthcare thing), cars with large engines are taxed for environmental reasons. I think it may be the case that the bigger the engine, the more the tax, but I'm not sure because I don't drive. There may/may not be some sort of exception for vintage cars over 30 years or so.
Damn. Commies? I'm gonna have to move there. People are trying to abolish our "socialism" and it's bothering me immensely.
Apparently you've also got my favourite type of weather.
Wasn't Trainspotting set in Scotland?
This is my car. You all'll be jealous.Show Image(http://stayinsafe.files.wordpress.com/2009/03/overloaded-truck.jpg)
