Title: OMG, dat Lawrence
Post by: tp4tissue on Sun, 21 June 2020, 17:25:31
The new Lawrence of Arabia 4K Bluray must be seen to be believed.

The Quality is God-Like. The grain detail, the consistency of it, how it perfectly envelops the image enhancing its temporal fidelity. This is the finest classic re-release ever made. The HDR highlights are also used incredibly, the perfect amount of gloss.

Wow, that does look good.

Great movie as well,
Just beware some parts in it are not entirely factual (not a surprise). Yes, he was a real person, one of the trains he destroyed is still sitting in the desert and visible on Google Maps.

It's one of the few 4K blurays to be split on 2 discs.

But this movie is exceptionally long. And they need a very high bitrate to retain the fine grain detail.
