Sorry about how I attached the image three times I'm new to geekhack.

Buying them is a personal choice driven by aesthetics preferences and disposable income. The only opinion that matters is yours.

If you're 10 years old and play fortnite, then I'd say go for it :thumb:

Ducky caps are good, they're OEM profile which is the same as the crappy printed legend on thin ABS caps you usually get on a board but they're doubleshot PBT so legends are permanent and they'll shine less. This is all good but the colours aren't for me.

Yet Vapourwave was well received, and there a current GB which looks close enough. GMK, no less.

Well to be fair, there are tons of young fortnite fans who buy bad colorways.
In other news, I should tell these kids to get off my lawn.

Beyond the colorway being extremely garshish IMO, Ducky caps are very good quality for the money. I've never tried their doubleshot PBT caps yet, but if they are anything like their doubleshot ABS or dyesubbed PBT sets they'll be nice & thick & the legends should be more than acceptable for their price point.

I bought a Ducky One recently that had doubleshot PBT keycaps on it. Other than the odd arrangement of the secondary legends on the number keys, the keycaps were great. They should really invest in some molds for their non-backlit keycaps so they can look normal. My only other issue with Ducky keycaps is that they only give you two Windows keycaps and an Fn keycap, which doesn't quite match up with a lot of layouts.

I just like the color :( fortnite bad

Ähm, no. Haha. Thanks though.
I genuinely understand the appeal of the bright colours like that, but it's not for me.
On the other stuff, the quality is I'm sure fine; Ducky makes good stuff, and I like the design. In the highish quality custom keycap space, this seems like a great deal.
It's not something I'd buy though, just because it seems so highly fashionable it will go out of style and look quite garish in a few years. Garish in a bad way, not the ironic garish appeal that it has now.
It's part of the reason I normally stick with boring colours for the keyboards: I use my keyboards for decades and plan to continue to do so, and don't want to swap out the keycaps every few years I don't think. I just kind of want it to be a keyboard.
But, again, if you like the colours, seems like a great buy.

Who cares what other people think? It's a keyboard, it sits in front of your computer. At home.
It's not like you're going to be carrying it to job interviews, or (presumably) posting a zillion photos of it onto Instagram.
-
It's funny you should say that because I think the people who do post a zillion photos of their keyboards to Instagram would absolutely buy this.

You should definitely buy them then. Colours are like art and everyone has differing opinions so ignore the haters and enjoy being you :thumb:

Yes, they're adorable!
