Hello, just got an HHKB Classic which is pretty much unused. I have noticed that there is an annoying 'stickiness' sound on release on pretty much every single key. Here is a video to make it clear:
- Black board: Stock HHKB Pro 2
- White board: Stock HHKB Classic <-- evildoer
My HHKB Pro 2 does not make such sounds. Does anybody have a similar experience or know what causes this / how to fix it? It really makes it unusable for me. :(

I'd say its normal but best way to find out is to open it, re assemble it and see if there is anything there or something.

I have a HHKB Professional Classic and tried the same thing, it seems that the stickiness sound is only present if you press down on the key with a lot of pressure.
So much so that it'd be way past the amount of pressure required to actuate the switch.
I'd say that it's normal, but if it's bugging you that much you could try looking at the membrane which seems like the most likely reason for the stickiness effect.

This issue is fixed most of the time if you reseat the domes.

I own a classic and experience the same sound. Not sure why but might be the domes or the springs. I only experience it on hard presses, could be the sound of rubber cup being released.
