Title: New to MK world
Post by: i3d on Mon, 29 June 2020, 11:57:44
I heard about good things of them and started reading more recently. I am a developer mostly working on mac laptops (even more so since the pandemic) for long time and started to thinking maybe trying something else... I have colleagues with very loud and old IBM MKs and I am not really sure I appreciate that in office. My main goal is to see if I can prove that MKs work for me to improve my typing efficiency. If possible, to see if I can eventually build a VIM keyboard for myself...  :))

They probably won't help your typing efficiency, but if you like Macs, check out Matias keyboards. They design them expressly for Macintosh, and they have silent versions as well so you don't go clacking up your office too much. Indeed, I have a "tactile" dampened version of one of their keyboards and it's no louder than a rubber dome, so that's awesome.
