Title: [IC] Trinite 60% keyboard case and Coast wrist rest
Post by: Leighton13104 on Mon, 29 June 2020, 12:27:51
Hi I'm quite new to the keyboard Hobby and I designed this keyboard off the keycult 60% pcb. It has gasket mounted plates with a leaf spring design. Other colours and material options will be available if enough interest is shown. The keyboard should retail for 380- 420 USD (including pcb) and the wrist rest for 70-90 USD.

Plate available in:
Stainless Steel +20 USD
Brass +10 USD
Aluminum (included)
POM ( only available as extra ) + 25 USD

Weight available in:
Stainless Steel +40 USD
Brass +30 USD
Aluminum (included)

Case material- aluminium( maybe POM?)

Compatible with GH60 pcbs (DZ60, YD60MQ, etc)

5 degree typing angle

Celtic Knot engraving behind weight and on the bottom

USB C only

Updates :
No longer compatible with mainstream 60% boards. Only compatible with the keycult 60% pcb.

Reason for design change:
Bad placement for USB C Port as it would be protruding from the stainless steel weight

I like the design but this is so expensive even for a high end. Are you getting proxies for Eu?

Yeah thinking of proxies in the EU, US and Asia. If more interest I'll expand out more as I haven't yet got my hands on a prototype. And once everything is finalized price will drop when there is a larger batch price maybe 370-400 USD

not a bad looking keyboard, but feel like it's a little too inspired by the no1/60 and as a result doesn't really differentiate itself enough to consider buying this over a 1/60. the overall design is super similar and the mounting method looks to be largely identical. additionally, from the renders the front also looks a bit tall, and the corners look a bit too round imo. i do like the celtic knot engraving quite a bit though. i'd keep refining this design and make it a little more your own, but it looks like a good start  :thumb:

Looks pretty good. I would get it if it doesn't have a max order quantity.

I hope that you are aware of the fact that the Keycult PCBs are not some "free for all" open source thing.
They are a copyright protected item and I highly doubt that you have the permission to use this pcb for your board.
