Title: Hello from Orange, Australia.
Post by: SNA14L on Sat, 04 July 2020, 08:15:22
Hi,

I use to love typing on my laptop, I really liked the flat keys. I liked it so much, I went out and bought Microsoft designer keyboards. That's right, more than one. I got one for the office and one for home.

Now, I don't want to make people too jealous ( :) ha ha) , but a few months ago I bought a Logitech G915 with romer g tactile switches. The bluetooth on one of the other keyboards was playing up, and I saw the 915 at a really good price (well I thought so at the time at least). This was my first mechanical keyboard. WOW.

I am now aware the 915 is not a great keyboard, but wow. The feeling of the keys, and the sound. It was the sound that got me.

Then I slowly started to google. I have since bought a Leopold with Cherry MX browns for the office. I also shudder at what I paid for the G915 and what I could have bought instead (I try not to think about it actually). Oh well, live and learn I guess.

Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself and say 'hi'.

Orange, NSW. Where, I have been told, the primary farming crop is actually apples :)
