Title: das cable
Post by: sam113101 on Tue, 13 July 2010, 00:39:03
I find that my das keyboard model s has a big cable. I wanted a wireless keyboard, which I can't find in the mechanical keyboard world (I heard of a wireless filco keyboard, this would be a very nice thing, but I think they don't make it anymore).

I can't find a wireless mechanical keyboard, so I wanted something with a subtle cable. Seems like das' one is bigger, I think it's because of the usb hub, might be that. I plan to buy a filco board, does anyone has both das model s and filco, and can tell me if the filco's cable is smaller*?

Thanks.

Also, are the browns very different from the blues*?
Will I tell myself, «*well, these are like blues but without the click sound*»*?

well, by smaller I mean thinner, don't you mean that too*?
I don't really care of the length since it's hidden behind my desk, it's okay, just fine

das' cable is thicker than any other keyboard, that's what I really meant

Blues have about the sharpest tactile response of any keyswitch, while the response of browns is hardly noticeable. They feel totally different.
