Title: Color Accuracy vs Resolution
Post by: tp4tissue on Sun, 26 July 2020, 21:45:11
Dis' netbook is so slow,   It can either run

720p w/ color correction enabled,

OR 1080p w/out color correction.

Which would you guys choose ??

If it’s that slow you probably won’t be doing any video/image editing or anything that requires high color accuracy to beginn with..

So.. 1080p?

1080p this isn't even a question

If the native pixel size of the panel is 1080 on the vertical, then because 720 is ⅔ of 1080, 720 would not scale evenly and look crap. Therefore 1080.

If I instead had to choose between two netbooks, then 1) whichever has PPI in the sweet-spot of 100-120 (or >300),  2) IPS or VA over TN.
