Title: Model M QMK PS2 to USB converter
Post by: DzR on Wed, 29 July 2020, 12:07:20
Hello,
I've spent the past few days researching the subject but I can't find a definite answer.
I'm trying to convert a PS2 Model M to USB using a Pro Micro using the original IBM controller. I managed to get Soarers working but I'd like to use QMK.
I used the qmk configurator with the "converter/modelm101" keyboard but it's not working. Do I need to resolder the wires to different pins, am I using the wrong keyboard or what am I missing?

Have you been able to make it work with qmk?

I'm having the same problem.

Ive given up on qmk as it seems there isn't a proper converter available, or at least there wasn't when I was looking around.
I even asked on the qmk discord server but I still wasn't able to make it work.

I'm using "tmk_keyboard/converter/ibmpc_usb" that I was able to configure. Only downside is that I'm not able to setup a hotkey to reboot to bootloader. There was a post on reddit that claimed to fix it but that didn't work.
