Title: Can you spraypaint black ABS Keycaps?
Post by: aarontreee on Sat, 01 August 2020, 08:20:34
Hello, I’m new to the custom Keyboard community, and I wanted to ask if I can spraypaint black ABS keycaps without wearing off and what Spraypaint should I use for my Keycaps? I got a new Keyboard from Epomaker and I wanted to spray off my old Keycaps from my Motospeed CK61 I want to give a friend to, and i think it would be a interesting project. So please help me out!

Paint will wear. It will also coat out any texture there is on the key.

I would try to get some new keycaps in the colour you want instead. Or get blank PBT keycaps in a light colour (or white) and dye them darker.
