Title: Question for keycap designers: What's your workflow? Tips for successful a GB?
Post by: 2truth on Sat, 01 August 2020, 20:30:05
I'm sure there's plenty of ways to start off here but I would like to hear how you go about the process from start to finish.

Do you work in photoshop? Create 3D renders on your own instead of having a third-party take care of it? Do you prefer to work alone or with others? Things like that.

Not that I'm involved enough to hold my own GB, but I do work as a designer / front-end developer and may find it fun to mess around in this area in my spare time. I have thought of a few different inspirations that would make a fun and interesting keyset - just don't know how to go about getting it to a finished example. With the amount of ICs popping up all the time now, I'm sure there's lot's of workflow tips/ideas out there - let's hear em.
