I noticed the \| switch isnt working so I took the board apart and desoldered the switch, looks like this underneath. What would be the best fix? I can't activate the key using tweezers either. I've briefly read about bridging but I'm not sure what I would bridge it to in that case.

The bottom pad goes to the top of the diode labeled D11, the diodes connect across the rows so I guess the top pad would connect to the top pin of the A switch. Short the top pin of A to the diode for /| to check before soldering :)
