Title: Spray Lubing Novelkey Creams?
Post by: Rhythm on Fri, 14 August 2020, 12:54:42
From past keyboards I spray lubed with SuperLube 31110. Just coming here because I don't know if its different with nk creams with the POM housing. Will it damage the switch?

You can go look at the tech specs yourself, but they do say their compatibility with POM is excellent.

Advise don’t spray lube please apply krytox or other proper lube manually for consistency and not to overlube... i don’t think it will damage it but I heard that people switches are starting to chatter later when the lube dries out.

^^^^ This 100%! I realize you can get away with spray lubing switches, but don't expect the results to stay consistent over time with such a method.

Tell me how you like that lube . I'm thinking about getting some myself.

Spray lubing switches is a bad idea.
Spray lube is meant to be used in places where you can use it to flush out contaminants and coat with lube. There's no way to flush out contaminants in a switch without taking it apart.
