Threesome-numpad.
-
Sounds dirty. I like that...
-
looks like a metal backing.
-
scratch that.....plastic. but a normal M controller inside
-
I doubt it would be a standard controller - the the traces on the membrane would be too different.
Only 50 keys.
-
how much for the Filco Tenkeyless Otaku (Blue Switches)
-
Constructed like a Model F but with membrane like a Model M. Interesting.
-
I didn't notice that. Well spotted!
The internals may have been derived from a Model F design.

It looks very similar to a standard M controller - eg, this (http://images.pcworld.com/reviews/graphics/147939-ibmKey10.jpg) looks almost identical. Possibly the microcontroller programming is different, though.
-
They used to use these keyboards at the supermarket I went to.
-
Another thing that has occured to me - since it has Model F like construction, I wonder if it would sound more like a Model F than a Model M...

Touch typing is not a huge concern in POS applications. But yes, it would be a ***** to type on.
-
Maybe these crazy irishmen may like typing on that keyboard:
