Title: Does anyone know the part number of the Lexmark Industrial M13?

I saw one somewhere and can't remember where for the life of me... Can anyone help?

And no, it's not the same as the part number of the Unicomp and Maxiswitch made ones.

There aren't. Only Unicomp ones.

I think the Lexmark one was either on eBay or some random parts site. All sorts of Google magic didn't give me anything.

Ahhh yes! Those trolls... always saying AMD is better than intel. I found the athlon processors okay, they were one of the best back in the day if I'm not mistaken.

Gray casing M13 is listed in the middle of the list with a comment "STILL SEARCHING FOR THIS GRAY ONE".
Not sure if the author has ever seen Lexmark M13 of industrial color, if the picture is actual one of said model.  He says PN is 97G7461 which is same as white color M13 both made by Lexmark and Maxi Switch.  Seems like the author ( a Japanese, maybe ) is an expert of M. There maybe such a model with that PN.

There was a part number beginning with 92G as opposed to 97G that appears to have been associated with white Maxiswitch M13s.

There's a pretty extensive, albeit not complete list of part numbers here. (http://darkstar.force9.co.uk/eprm-mirror/eprmx/h12543.htm) It mentions a good few white M13 variants, but none with that part number.

Ooopes!  Sorry. I mixed up with 92G and 97G just because following 4 digits are same with each other.  Beige M13s made by Lexmark and Maxi Switch are known as 92G7461.  I don't have any source for 97Gxxxx M13 except that page.

LOL! Don't ya just hate that?  When I am trying to find info on something and Google turns up my own inquiries in the top 10 results I start double checking my search parameters to make sure I haven't inadvertently filtered all but the most useless information.  I dunno but I think the Google engine just feels less efficient than it used to be or somehow less far-reaching?  

But I suppose you never know, that could be advantageous... The same thing happened to me with my "want it now" ebay post when I was looking to find an M5-1, and I actually managed to get a response to that ad within about 36 hours of posting it, apparently because it was the first result on the list when someone else Googled M5-1 looking to sell...

Well, in this instance, the reason why I only got those queries was because that one page was the only indexed page that showed that part number of IBM, and this thread was the only other thing that referenced it.

If my hazy memories on lectures about search engine design are correct, the retrieval of every relevant page on the net for a certain query is impossible, so search engine development focuses around filtering out garbage as opposed to trying to retrieve more relevant stuff.

One thing I wish Google would do would be to filter out all that automated crap like "Download the [insert your search term here] driver today from ilovetodownloadlotsofdrivers.com!". It wouldn't be all that hard to filter it all out. It would make searching for old drivers MUCH easier.

 +1 Amen to that.
Especially when you might be looking for something unusual with common terminology that turns up zero results when you put it in quotes.   I hate slogging through tons of stuff that can't be avoided and then getting all excited about a result that appears to be "exactly what I was looking for" only to find a page that can search for "exactly what I was looking for".  
 
Or how about when you are searching for model numbers with the letters MB or KB or GB and getting results from pages listing anything with a file size that matches the numbers?
