Hi Geekhack!

After lurking around the forums for a while, I've finally decided to make an account so that I can start joining into the conversation!

For years, the only thing I knew about mechanical keyboards was that my Razer Blackwidow was super clicky and fun to type on. However, recently, I've fallen down the rabbit hole and started to build my own custom sets, experiencing complete sensory overload with the variety of tactilities and clickiness (and lack thereof) with so many types of switches. I'm always a sucker for a through hole diy set, so I'm looking forward to seeing the different things people create and post on this forum!  :))

Yeah there seems to be a lack of custom clicky switches I think ?
Most of the new ones I have seen around seem to just be the same switch we already have but in a cool different colored housing.

And I totally agree-- I could see clicky switches being the last type people want to make even more of, since it seems like a much more typing-in-a-room-alone kind of switch, whereas the other ones are much more versatile.
