Would you really want to carry a single keyboard between two locations? Most people just keep one at both.
Get a couple of barebones boards (Drop, GMMK) and populate with silenced linears (kailh silenced boxed pinks spring to mind but there are many others).

Hey I always recommend custom because it enables you do do so much.
But perhaps you discounted stock options too hastily? I mean i always find leopold varmillo and filco to have great quality and cost you less than 200 and they are not GaMeR kind of thing at all.

Something like a compact black GMMK with plain black switches would look totally crappy, but feel fine. You could always make the keyboard especially unappealing by using blank switches on it :)
But yeah, if your workplace isn't safe from a theft perspective, I guess the best thing is to carry it.

Have you actually used a 60%?
You're currently using a full size, that's a MASSIVE change and not always an easy one to make.
Why not get a cheap one, see if you like it and leave it at work then build a nice one for yourself at home.
By the way, get a magnetic USB cable, you can ditch it in a drawer at the end of the day rather than carrying it back and forth.

I'd have to echo this.
I can't stand 60%, and I've given it a fair shot using layers for over a month now. I strongly prefer dedicated nav keys.
Lots of people like 60-65% but you really need to try it before dropping a lot of money. Hell, you could even try it on your current board by remapping keys and blocking off others.

60% are a dime a dozen... Almost everyone offers one.

GH60 and GH60 Satan
KBDFans Tofu and DZ60
Krepublic XD60 and XD64
For me, I'd be looking GMMK, Poker, Ducky, DZ60 or Tofu. The latter two have massive ship times and higher cost but arguably the best of the bunch, Ducky and Poker have good caps, GMMK lets you pick the switch and caps or none at all.

Same price, or you can get it cheaper without switches and caps ($60).
Hot swap, no bluetooth, the backlighting can be turned off and it retains the setting when power is cut, it even already has some light foam in the bottom. If you use your own caps and switches, worst case you're only out $60.

The silver bezel kills it for me.

Seems like a lot of work to avoid that little silver strip.

Same here, the low profile it's also not in my taste, but I think I can live with that, but the bezel is horrible!

It's easy to bash the GMMK for the things it isn't.
As a fully assembled keyboard it's meh, from a kit perspective it's garbage, but show me a keyboard you can buy for $60 and throw a set of Zeals, Halos or any other switch and get a decent experience. Spend a little time doing lube and bandaid mod (I also installed Cherry stabs) and this $60 board punches waaaaay above it's class to the point it becomes comical.

Different strokes for different folks and all, but people complain about a 1mm bezel on a $60 case, but are okay with flashing LEDs on their keyboards? (Not the OP, more a general comment).

Get an Iris from keeb.io or Lily58 from keyhive. Or just upload Gerbers to a cheap Mainland fab.
