Title: bigAss enter key binds when pressed at the top of the key?

I bought a vintage keyboard and the bigAss enter key binds, sticks when you press the top, large part of the cap. It feels great when you press near the actual switch on the lower part of the cap. What causes this binding/sticking, and how can I fix it? Other bigAss keys do not do this. Thanks for any advise.
