Welcome everyone, I'm proud to announce one of the first Cerakoted YC8 Coiled Cables!

For a while now I've personally been on the lookout for colored YC8s with no luck.
So I decided to get the ball rolling myself and set out to make the sleekest and whitest possible coiled cable.
I spent a great deal of time gathering the right resources and discussing certain custom parts to make this type of cable possible.
Hopefully many of you enjoy this minimal style as much as I do!

Why does this have to be a interest check? Making cerakoted YC8s wouldn't make sense if I just did a small amount so I decided to make this project an interest check and eventually a group buy.

I think for this to be viable for Europeans, you would have to offer a European proxy. Otherwise shipping and customs would drive the price through the roof on orders of one or two cables.

I think for this to be viable for Europeans, you would have to offer a European proxy. Otherwise shipping and customs would drive the price through the roof on orders of one or two cables.

If you use a vendors, they add the conversion rates and customs tax to it as well. The only thing you will save on is a few Euros in shipping.

I do not mind paying customs. (Actually I wish I could self-declare and pay that way.)
What I do mind paying is the additional fee of 20+ Euros that the national postal service charges for each package I receive originating outside of the EU.
To me 20 Euros is more than a few, but I appreciate that this may just be a personal opinion. :)

I'll do a lot of research and try making it as cheap as possible for international orders. Ill definitely look into a proxy.

Definitely interested, but kind of worried for the same reason as my fellow Europeans commenting earlier. Customs, tax, deliverer’s fee and shipping can make a 120$ cable well over 200€ in the end.

This looks to be of very high quality. However I absolutely do not want an all white cable. I will have to sit tight until they produce a color I like. I would like to do business with them as I am located in Chicagoland as well.

I just got a cable worth about $350 made and shipped to me in less than a week from Cup Cables for $50. I cannot thank her enough. she did it for me due to an error on her website. She could have told me to take a hike. I know I keep doing this and it is probably inappropriate but I honestly feel i owe it to her. It is not like you can buy one from her anyways. She only does group buys. She has a few cheap damaged ones you would not want.

On that note, I saw a cable like no other and go figure that they are in China. It probably fails in an hour if not DOA. Not to mention 4 months to get it with Covid. This one looks really nice. If white is your color this is your cable. I have not seen a white one this nice. I just have to wait for a different color. with any luck, naturally black shall follow. One thing, yc8 is the best connector. Just do not force it the wrong way and crush the pins. You have to pull back the ring. Just in case someone did not know. Sorry for the long post.
