I have a broken Access-IS AKENOVL, I think the controller is screwed up because it physically looks great. It gets recognized but I can't get anything to flash to it - can I replace the control board with a arduino or something? Thanks!
edit: here is an old thread I created with some more details and pics that I didn't want to revive.

It appears to have in switch diodes, so if you traced the matrix and wired each column and row to a teensy / pro-micro / elite-c it should be easy enough to get it up and running QMK.
It's essentially a handwire build where 98% of the wiring is already done, so it should be pretty straightforward (https://beta.docs.qmk.fm/using-qmk/guides/keyboard-building/hand_wire)
