Joined. I never got around to assembling my CA66, but have been thinking about getting around to it lately.

Looking forward to getting around to it with this :)

Sent out all the invoices. Once all are paid I'm going to place the orders.

As it turns out the MCU's are out of stock so I will be soldering them myself. This will add time and cost but that's on me. And that means you do not have to wait longer.

Should be fairly quick once everybody paid. Will take me 2 weeks from order to ship more or less.

Need to solder some components myself and package etc

Placed the order. due to the amount of dropouts of order I removed the ENIG finish to non-lead.  I'm sorry for the unconvienience.

Hopefully I will get the PCB in next week and then I can begin soldering the components that were not in stock in china (LEDS, MCU, CONNECTORS, FUSE, TRANSISTOR) which is quite some work so bare with me. Will keep you updated.

The firmware is still in PR so you might need to check out my repository if this is not merged yet.

There was no BT support for this PCB?

No BT support as QMK doesnt have BT support with STM32 chips as we speak. Once that comes I will prob make a pcb for it

Is there any chance there will be some extra available? I'm sitting on a dead CA66 PCB that I just bought.

Has anyone millmaxed this PCB? If so, which sku did you use? I have a bag of 0305s laying around that didn't fit the original CA pcb - wondering if they will fit the Knife

I millmaxed my Knife PCB with 7305's and didn't have any issues. I believe 7305's and 0305's have the same diameter, so you should be good there.

Any word on a round 3?  I'm also one of the unlucky ones with a dead PCB.

Also wondering if R3 may be coming. Thank you for designing this alt PCB!

This thread's been pretty quiet for awhile, but PlayKB has recently teased another run of the CA66 that will also offer the option to buy PCBs a la carte. No date announced yet, but it's coming.

Wouldn’t get your hopes up on getting a good pcb from play tbh. Most of their r1 and r2 died. Supply on the stm chips is still terrible. Will keep you guys posted
