Title: Help: Key makes multiple strokes
Post by: YangYoga on Fri, 02 October 2020, 04:19:41
Hey guys, a key on my board is making multiple strokes when it's pressed once.

It's not the switch, I have tried a few different and it also does it with tweezers.

I think I damaged the pcb when I desoldered it last time.
Maybe there is a component on the board that "delays" the key when it's held down, and that part is broken?

This is too technical for my knowledge about pcb's, but maybe someone here has a tip?

The only things between the pins on the controller are the switch and a diode so there's nothing to go wrong really.

What controller chip is it?  If you can't see that what keyboard/pcb is it?  You might have some luck adjusting the debounce time in the firmware, assuming it's a custom build.
