Hey everyone! I proudly present to you my first keycap set that I had been working on.
Designed and inspired by the distinct color scheme used in the MV of YOASOBI's "Racing Into the Night 夜に駆ける", I have coined the name for this set to be "GMK Yoru(夜)". The name "Yoru" is the romanized spelling of the term "夜" and itself translates to "Night" in Japanese, thus the theme of this set would revolve around the concept of the Midnight


Included below is an initial render of the set, with many other renders of kits to come in the near future (as long as my computer doesn't explode by doing so).

I feel like dark blue legends and mods might be the key here to create some nice contrast with the pink?

This feels like a rush job, or at least maybe a rush so that you can "claim" the colours.

I was interested by the banner and the intro, but then the lack of any kitting quickly stopped that interest. If you haven't already I think you should also look at Uniqey/GMKs guide (https://uniqey.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360008759900-Designing-a-Custom-GMK-Keycap-Set-Guide-), most specifically around the colours. I could be wrong but I'm presuming that these are Hexes and not related to a physical colour (Pantone or RAL).

I hope that the next time I see this thread you have at least thought about:

For a set whose theme is "midnight" this is UNBELIEVABLY bright.
Personally I hate the blue legends on pink keys. It causes me physical pain to look at.

Besides that, I feel like this IC is very low effort. There is zero information in what you posted aside from "here's a picture of some keycaps"
Buburoo is right you have a lot more to consider before making an IC.
Look at other keycap IC's that have run.
Consider what they started with and how they made changes along the way.
Read whole threads and ingest the feedback that was given to others.
IC's are a place to help you fine-tune your ideas. Not flesh them out completely while learning how to design a keycap set in the process.

Love YOASOBI but I agree. If there is a way to dim down some of these colors, I would be interested.

All of the other colors have low saturation while the pink is highly saturated by comparison which makes it even louder since its the only warm color in the palette. I think the colors themselves could work really well together but in it's current state it's extremely disorienting to look at.

I overstepped in my criticism earlier. But even as someone currently typing on Handarbeit, those alphas are an instant non-starter, and the mods aren't much better. This would be an incredibly hard sell to even the most colorfully inclined person here, especially given more accurate renders and real samples.

I love it, insta buy, don't listen to these guys crying about the "brightness" of the alphas. That pink is dope. And there's a reason so may kits have pink legends on blue caps, it's awesome. Great job man.
Make it, compared to a lot of the kits i see get made on here, whether they be beyond boring like Moomin or Tuzi, or just hideous like Gregory, this is an all star.
