Not The Carbon Fiber You Already Know

Forged Carbon Fiber is made from small chopped carbon fibers, this creates a unique and individual pattern for each plate.


No two plates are identical.

Lightweight and Strong

Each plate weighs roughly 41g, compared to brass weighing in at ~190g.

Inspired by Lamborghini Forged Composites

In 2008, Dr Paolo Feraboli created what would become Forged Composites for Lamborghini.

Taking this concept and applying it as a plate material creates unique patterns on each individual piece.

Difference between Forged Carbon and Carbon Fiber

The main difference is aesthetic. Forged Carbon has a marbled appearance compared to the typically Carbon Fiber woven look.

Forged also typically has a higher thread count, making the plate stronger.

In real world applications the feel and sound is very similar to traditional woven carbon fiber.

Additional Information

Both hotswap and solder versions will be available.
Standoff holes are on the board for those that wish to use them, however they are not required and I personally do not use them.
Plates will be shipped from Ireland, and can be shipped to both EU and US.
Plates are between 1.5 and 1.6mm thick.

where are you getting the forged cf made if you don't mind me asking? Only because I've been looking to make some forged cf stuff for my car
