Title: Best "90s" keycaps for the Haze RAMA KARA?
Post by: el_mechacontext on Thu, 12 November 2020, 16:03:42
Hey all.

I'm a huge fan of the Haze colorway for the KARA (the GB is currently on). I'm trying to plan out a nice set to use with it to make it resemble a staple of my youth, the Atomic Purple Nintendo 64.

I just love that sort of exaggerated "radical!" aesthetic that was present in a lot of late-80s-early-to-mid-90s kids' toys, especially when contrasted against those "please take me seriously, I'm a computer!" grays and beiges. Which is why the Nintendo 64 controller resonates with me to this day. It just feels like a piece of history.

Anyone have any recommendations for open GBs or ready-to-order sets that might fit the aesthetic I'm going for? I don't REALLY have a preference for profile or material, as long as it looks good.

Thanks!

There's a bunch of vapor aesthetic sets recently that go for that Miami pink and blue look and a Jazz Solo Cup set? Was that ever made?

That solo cup one sounds delightful, but as far as I can tell, it wasn't ever made. A bit of a bummer!
