Title: Books that have changed your perspective
Post by: Sniping on Mon, 16 November 2020, 13:49:25
Let's talk about it. I finally got around to reading When Breath Becomes Air this year, and read through some of Atomic Habits recently. What are some texts that have given you some food for thought? Not limited to books.

A language older than words. Heavy but really good, quasi spiritual, look at nature and our place in it.

The War of Art
UnF*ck Yourself: Get out of your head and into your Life
Brave New World
1984
Most of what I've been reading lately is Star Wars fan fiction and Destiny lore to get my head out of current events.  Also love reading alot of the Forgotten Realms books (read 94% of the Drzzit's series).

23 Things They Don't Tell You About Capitalism by Ha-Joon Chang really helped me solidify some of my critiques of neoliberalism.

Hello,
I may not be too original in this matter, but for me the turning books were:
-The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
-The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod
-Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor E. Frankl
For some reason, these are the main three books in my life, the ones that shaped my mindset :thumb:.
