Title: Starting a mech keyboard shop
Post by: RUN_GMSEE on Tue, 17 November 2020, 00:23:29
I'm based in the Philippines and there are no official vendors here I usually get my stuff through other bigger vendors and ship it to my country put a small mark up and add the shipping cost I was wondering if
anyone could point me to the right direction on how to start my own shop ? I'm very enthusiastic about being able to provide a better price for my fellow enthusiasts so we can enjoy this hobby without the bearing the burden of high shipping price and high taxes too

First, you need to understand supply and demand. You also need a LOT of marketing knowledge.

If you want to open a keyboard shop, you have to do some research about the area where are you living, to see what's average age of the people from that place, their approximate income, interests and things like this. One of my friends has a small shop running and he shared a bit of his experience with me. He is buying most of the stuff from https://www.yorkn.com/ (https://www.yorkn.com/) because they have good prices for high quality merchandise. Also the delivery is free and in this way he is saving money to be able to sell the products at a decent price and have an income at the same time.
